The multitudinous tile options on the market are virtually endless. On most all of our pools we use a waterline tile. Sitting directly beneath the coping, a total height of only six inches of tile is needed. Now while water is in the pool only about three inches of waterline tile will show. However, tile is also typically used on the face of a raised spa or feature wall, so that gives an additional opportunity to really showcase your custom tile selection. Paired or contrasted with the right grout color the possibilities for tile are seemingly infinite.

GROUT

More grout joints means more maintenance. Six by sixes means a lot less grout to keep [clean] scale-free as opposed to your standard one by one inch glass tile.
